Our traditional small log cabins are built on the style originally developed in Europe. Many historians suggest that the log cabin idea originated in Germany and was brought to North America by our ancestors. In fact, this stunning log resort was originally created by a family from Germany.
Early settlers in what is now Kent County, New Brunswick found the structures something they could build with available tools and resources. It thoroughly protected them from the driving winds of a Maritime winter and the warm rains of spring.
Our resort settlement of small log cabins finds them snuggled together in a forested canopy, just a short stroll from the Richibucto River.
All of these cozy one-room cabins feature a queen bed, bathroom with a shower, mini-fridge, toaster, coffee pot and air conditioning.
Guests are welcome to use the nearby community gazebo that has a gas barbecue and fire pit.
