The Main Lodge
The nucleus of the Richibucto River Resort in New Brunswick is the charming main lodge. Crafted of logs it is architecturally in keeping with its natural environment.
Guests gather on its large wrap-around deck or stroll through the gorgeous manicured gardens that surround it.
The lodge opens to a gracious and roomy reception/ meeting room area featuring a magnificent view of the Richibucto River. This is the river which Samuel de Champlain sailed up in 1604 and decided to establish a colony here. It is believed to be the first European community established in North America.
The spacious lodge has seven beautifully furnished guest rooms and six bathrooms as well as a large, fully equipped kitchen and a cozy great room with a hearth warmed by crackling fires to ward off the evening’s chill.
In this hospitable atmosphere there are also such modern conveniences as a sauna, Wi-Fi, satellite television, air conditioning, gas barbecue and fire pit.
The entire lodge can be rented for staff meetings or parties or for intimate weddings.
Additionally, there is a conference room for rent in the lodge that is fully equipped with modern amenities for board meetings or group initiatives such as World Café exercises.
Nearby from the grounds there are a series of well-marked walking trails for those who seek solace or exercise when their work is done.
